Title: ‘Way Out’
This print looks at the process of investigating a problem that is limiting you. It’s about the journey you go on as you search for a resolution to that problem. Part of this process is going from what is known, into what is unknown as you probe your experience for answers to a question that won’t leave you alone. The orange blade like windows are filled with eye like motifs which represent awareness or knowledge. They probe the centre of the image in search for the answer.
If you look at this print from various angles you will see flickers of a white after image within the black central circular area. A curious optical effect, but one that alludes nicely to representing the answer to the questions we have. As is the way with the process of seeking answers to our problems, once he answer is seen, the problem is resolved and the answer gets absorbed back into the void from which it came. Both answer and problem cease to be answer and problem and become part of the whole again.
All prints are limited and printed on Hahnemuhle photo rag papers using the finest archival quality inks. They are all signed and include a signed certificate of authenticity.
